Detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) have arrested two additional suspects linked to the murder of Willis Ayieko, the Human Resource Manager at Wells Fargo. The arrests took place in Siaya County during a raid after police received information about a planned robbery by a group of individuals.
The police set up a roadblock and, when the suspects tried to flee, officers conducted a search. During this search, they recovered a firearm believed to have been used in Ayieko’s murder. This follows the earlier arrest of another suspect in Dandora, Nairobi, where he was found hiding in a rented house.
An autopsy report revealed that Ayieko died from excessive bleeding caused by severe head injuries. It also showed that he had wrist injuries from handcuffs. These findings highlight the violent nature of his death and raise concerns about how he was treated.
The investigation is ongoing, and the DCI is urging anyone with information about the case to come forward. Police are determined to uncover the truth and hold all responsible parties accountable for this tragic incident.
