Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was today forced to apologise to a church Bishop who had been invited to the Launch of Narok West Constituency Strategic Plan, after the bishop had not been included in the protocol at the event.

Gachagua was speaking during the commissioning of 38 Junior Secondary School Laboratories at Kishermoruak Boys, Narok County and the launch of the Strategic plan, when he said that the planners of the event did not do a good thing by leaving out the bishop.

“Bishop Naomba Msamaha. Ungekuwa pale utuombe tukifunga ile jengo. Kanisa ni muhimu Sana. Watu wetu was protocol walifanya vibaya na naomba Msamaha (Bishop,I am asking for forgiveness. You should have been there to pray for us. The church is very important. What our protocol team did is not good and I am asking for forgiveness),” Gachagua said.
