Cherargei confronts judge”/>The Azimio La Umoja Coalition party on Wednesday officially called off the bipartisan talks with the ruling Kenya Kwanza Coalition.
The opposition coalition cited such incidences like the inclusion of members of parliament elected on Azimio and lack of seriousness from the government side as the reasons for the fall of the talks.
This statement was read by the Rarieda member of the National Assembly Senior Counsel Hon Otiende Amolo.
Reacting to the move by the oppoistion, president Ruto’s eraly who is the senator of Nandi on a UDA ticket Hon Kiprotich Arap Cherargei has given some incites on why the Raila Odinga led coalition is stalling the bipartisan talks.
According to Hon Cherargei, the faction of Raila are giving unrealistic demands hence the talks will not go on as planned.
”Azimio-OKA are frustrating Bipartisan talks because they want an handshake/nusu mkate govt,” wrote Cherargei on his official twitter account.
He has also claimed that Raila might be after a handshake hence a shared government with the incumbent president Dr William Samoei Ruto.
