The Nairobi Police Commander Adamson Bungei has termed Azimio-OKA protest notice as null and void. According to Bungei, the Azimio coalition have delivered their protest notice to the office of the Inspector General as opposed to the OCS of the area where they want to demonstrate.

Adamson Bungei has urged the Azimio leader Raila Odinga and his team to deliver the protest notice to OCSs across the country. He is clear that failure to present their letter to OCS means that their protest is a nullity and it will be dismissed.

Adamson Bungei has also made it clear that people cannot be allowed to demonstrate and interfere with the rights of other Kenyans by blocking roads with stones. Adamson Bungei has warned the opposition that they must follow the law or they will be stopped.

Adamson Bungei has remained clear that Nairobi Central Business District will be a no go zone for Azimio. This clearly means that more clashes is expected on Monday between the police and the Azimio Protesters.
