A 62-year-old German man, Greg Twiss, has shared his heartbreak after his Kenyan wife, Ciru Njuguna, ended their marriage.

The couple met over eight years ago, and Twiss made the bold decision to sell all his belongings in Germany to relocate to Kenya, hoping to build a life with Ciru and their children.

Despite his sacrifices, the marriage crumbled in August. Twiss revealed that he made every effort to salvage the relationship, but his attempts proved futile. His wife moved out, leaving him devastated.

Ciru, in her account, stated that she left the relationship because it lacked growth. While acknowledging the pain of their split, she expressed her need for healing and self-reflection.

The separation has left Twiss grappling with a mix of emotions, including regret and sorrow, as he adjusts to life without the woman he believed was his soulmate.

Their story has sparked conversations about the challenges of intercultural relationships, especially when significant sacrifices are involved.

Twiss’s experience serves as a poignant reminder of the complexities of love and the importance of mutual growth in sustaining a marriage.

Both parties now face the difficult task of rebuilding their lives apart.
