Jane was one of the Kenyans who are looking for their family members whom they separated at one point in life due to various reasons. Jane Wanjiru arrived at Kameme FM studios with hopes that she will reconnect with her son and daughter whom she disconnected at different times.

Jane is looking for Beth Wanjiku whom she disconnected with in 1999 while she was one year old and Kelvin Mwangi whom she separated with in 2007 while at the age of 5 years.

While narrating the incidence on how she lost her second born child, Jane claimed to have tried her second marriage at Narok in 2005. She got married while still with her 3 year old child Kelvin Mwangi but her kid used to stay with her mother who also resided in their neighbourhood.

Jane Wanjiku claimed that her marriage was working until when her mother-in-law noted that she had another child. The mother-in-law was bitter and sent neighbours to alert her that she would not get married to her son. The mother-in-law claimed that she wouldn’t allow her son to marry a ‘shifter’. Jane claims that the journey of losing her son started at this point. She claims that her toddler started missing at home and would sleep anywhere, a behaviour she had not noted before.

She explained several cases of her child missing where they would look for him and even find him asleep even at the chicken coop. However, Jane never attributed her son’s new condition to the mother-in-law’s words until 2027. Jane claims that her mother-in-law visited her early in the morning at around 9 am, a very unusual visit. During the visit, she welcomed her with decorum as any other woman would do to her parents and even prepared her some tea not knowing her ill intentions.

Jane’s mother-in-law praised her and gave unusual comments on how Jane was a good wife. At this point, she gave Jane two ksh500 notes and told her that it was her appreciation. The mother-in-law told jane to purchase herself some clothes and urged her not to give the money to her husband.

Jane recounted the mysterious experience she had on taking the money. She claims that she walked aimlessly where she got to Soweto and found her son playing with other kids. She claims that this was unusual as it had become a daily routine for her and her mother to look for Kelvin every evening. Jane took her son and quickly rushed to her mother’s house, packed her clothes and those of her son and within a very short time she also rushed to her marital home and did the same. She claims that she didn’t even have a bath and neither did she bath her baby.

She left with her son Kelvin and went to Ithanga where her own mother was born. Jane claims to have regained her conscious while at Ithanga and could not understand how she co-ordinated and made her journey to Ithanga. Jane planned to go back to her marital home and she recalls that her son got lost at Nairobi while on her way back to Narok.
