Mike Sonko’s daughter Saumu Mbuvi begun the year by dropping a bombshell when she revealed that her second baby daddy had been allegedly been physically abusive towards her.
Not only that, she posted images that showed her face in a very bad state that saddened many who had thought that she and Senator Anwar were the perfect match.
But since her revelation, Saumu has been disclosing other intimate details about her life. Yesterday, the mother of two spoke about the one great thing that had emerged from that failed relationship with the politician, her daughter.

In her touching story, Saumu, while celebrating her second daughter’s birthday, remembered how immediately after her birth she had to go into intensive care, exactly a year ago.
The reason was that her daughter couldn’t breathe properly, and Saumu herself was unable to breastfeed as she had also just come back from surgery.
“I remember when I gave birth to this angel, she went direct to NICU. Since she couldn’t breathe well and I was just out of theatre. It really drained me emotionally seeing my baby survive on oxygen, she couldn’t even breastfeed,” she said.
But great news was to follow as Saumu’s daughter fought just like her mum, and four days later she was discharged and she got her little one back.
A few months ago the dark-skinned lady had celebrated her baby girl saying, “When I count my blessings this year, I count you twice, my second jewel,” she wrote on IG.
Although their daughter has been a blessing to the former couple, the baby girl hasn’t been able to keep them together as they are currently going at each other trying to prove that they weren’t the bad guy in their relationships.
