Content creator Maureen Waititu has revealed some of the struggles she’s undergone.
In an interview with Nation, Maureen Waititu said she has faced a battle in a bid to reduce weight.
“I have had issues because of my eating habits and medication, but the most important thing is that I am at my healthiest with perfect peace of mind.”
The mother of two gushed over her new ‘bae’ saying he is the biggest supporter of her dream.
“My ideal man sees me beyond my physical appearance and isn’t afraid to support my dreams no matter what they are.”
She added that it was not easy falling in love again.
“I had built walls so high because of my pain but my new boyfriend managed to break them down. He is my best friend and my greatest supporter.
An important lesson I have learnt in the last five years is that you cannot control what other people do or think of you. Whatever the case might be, never make enemies with yourself-you are your own best friend first.”
In an interview with Terryanne Chebet, Maureen described her man as a ‘king’.
“When I say he is a king, he is. He is everything that I prayed for because I prayed for it. I had a list and he ticked every box.”
The mother of two also shared the challenges she has faced in between the time Frankie moved out of her life and before she chanced on the mystery man.
“I have struggled with mental health depression, anxiety, and having a person you can openly tell is something good. And out of nowhere, he came into my life.”
