Susan Wanjiku has shared a painful story about the tragic death of her husband. After they were done making merry he collapsed and died suddenly. Following this, her in-laws accused her of having a role in his death.

Susan was born and raised in Murang’a by a single mother after her father passed away when she was young. Due to financial difficulties, she was unable to attend school. At the age of 15, she ran away from home and found work as a house help.

After about four years of working, she met a man who fell in love with her. They dated for a year before moving in together and starting their family. Together, they had three children. Unfortunately, after the birth of their third child, her husband became ill and was diagnosed with epilepsy, which caused him to have seizures.

One evening, after preparing dinner and putting the kids to bed, Susan and her husband went to bed around 10 PM. After making merry, her husband suddenly collapsed and died. Terrified, she rushed to inform her in-laws about what had happened. They took his body to the morgue and began making burial arrangements.

Before the burial, her in-laws blamed her for their son’s death and kicked her out of their home. With nowhere to go, a friend offered her and her children shelter until she was able to rent a house of her own.
