After Yasmin found out about her husband’s mistress, she invited the other woman to come and live with them, and the throuple – and their nine kids – all live together as one big happy family

The three say they are happier than a lot of monogamous couples they know
Most cheating husbands would expect to be told to pack their bags once they’re caught out.

But when Yasmin found out that her man Tyquan was carrying on with Cieara, she invited the other woman into their home and into their bed.

“We are all romantically involved,” Yasmin told the Love Don’t Judge podcast. “Me and Cieara are now Sister-Wives as much as he is my husband. Physically she is my wife.”

Tyquan said that he usually sleeps in on the middle of their giant bed, but sometimes the two women sleep together without him. “And then I get the whole bed to myself,” he continued.

Yasmin and Cieara are very close
When he first met Cieara, about seven or eight years ago, he was already cheating on Yasmin with a number of women.

Yasmin recalled: “When I found out, of course I was bothered by it. I asked him to stop and when he didn’t stop I felt like maybe it was something more serious.” Yasmin had been open to the idea of polyamory in the past, and when she realised that Tyquan wasn’t going to give Cieara up, she decided to have the meeting which eventually led to them becoming a throuple.

Cieara added that, even though polygamy is shown as being acceptable in The Bible, it took a while for her to get used to the idea. She explained: “When I got into it it was a back and forth of trying to be poly but then still having that monogamous mindset.”

The two women care for nine kids between them
Over time, Cieara managed to overcome her objections and the three – together with the nine children they share between them – are now a happy blended family of 11.

Yasmin said: “I’m the one who eventually asked her to move into the house. I like the idea of a big family, and I like this specific dynamic because I feel like more feminine energy does help a household.”

Tyquan said that while many people have criticised their unusual lifestyle in the past, it’s working well for them, and it’s outlasted many more conventional setups. She explained: “We’ve actually watched monogamous relationships fall apart. Divorces happen and we’re still together.”
