As depression continue to take lives in Kenya. Akothee’s family is the latest to experience the painful jaw of death from depression.
Taking to her Facebook page the singer revealed how her children are in shock and disbelief after their close relative took his life.
“what about your wife and children? Omuga and the rest? David, did you not think of your mother, who just became a widow a year ago? Why were you so selfish, Odebi? You have broken my children’s hearts,” wrote Akothee.
Her brother in-law David Odhiambo Maduma is Akothee’s brother in-law and uncle to her daughters.
Revealing how she contemplated suicide as well time back Akothee said she understood the brother in-law.
The family is distraught as their mother was widowed not so long ago. Saying they failed him as a family, she said everyone was going through something but needed courage , bravery and considering those who love us .
“I’m truly sorry, Odebi. Forgive us for not being there for you, but honestly, we are all fucked up with this life now, we are all having our heads out of the water just to avoid suffocating,” she added.
As this happen, Eldoret family who were looking for their kin found him having committed suicide inside a lodge.
Kenneth Ngetich, who went missing for days and was being sought online was last night found having died by suicide, reportedly he hanged himself at a lodge in Senior(Maili Nne), just behind Khetias Supermarket, Eldoret City.
