Speaking in a previous interview on how they met, Grace said,
‘I WAS 19 WHEN I FELL IN LOVE WITH ELIUD. WE WERE SCHOOLMATES AND NEIGHBOURS. I STUDIED WITH ELIUD ALL HIS LIFE. FROM PRIMARY TO HIGH SCHOOL. MY BROTHER AMOS WAS ALSO HIS BEST FRIEND. WE BOTH ADORE HUMILITY AND THIS DREW US TOGETHER. TULIKATIANA KIKALE (WE DATED THE KALENJIN WAY) AND AFTER A YEAR, WE STARTED LIFE TOGETHER SOLEMNISED IN A TRADITIONAL CEREMONY.
Married for almost 14 years now the couple is blessed with three kids; Lynne, 13, Griffin, 9, and Gordon, 7.
The mother of three has always showered her husband with praises and in a previous interview, she said,
‘ELIUD IS DISCIPLINE ALSO EXTENDS TO HIS SPENDING. I’M HIS SUPPORTER. I TAKE CARE OF HIS BUSINESS AND THE FARM WHILE HE IS AWAY RUNNING OR TRAINING.’
