Following Arsenal’s victory over Manchester United, Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot and Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen got into a pleasant Twitter argument.
The ardent Gunners fanatic Kericho senator stated on his official Twitter account that CS Murkomen left without paying the bill.
When CS Murkomen softly departed the establishment, Cheruiyot described how he had leaped out of his seat to celebrate two goals by Gabriel Jesus and Declan Rice that had won the game.
“Anybody seen Kipchumba Murkomen.? He left me with a huge bill after Declan and Gabriel did their thing . Jumped up to celebrate, only to find an empty chair and the waiter with the bill,” Cheruiyot claimed.
Cheruiyot disclosed that ODM leader Raila Odinga, a well-known Arsenal fan watching the game at the same stepped in and cleared the bill before waiters could cause any trouble.
Fortunately, fellow Goon Raila Odinga was nearby. He cleared the bill after celebrations, the senator claimed.
Murkomen, a supporter of Manchester United, quickly responded by mocking Cheruiyot’s assertions.
The CS questioned why the senator was creating a fuss over a bill he claimed was for tea and a snack without denying it.
“The country is focusing on #ACS2023, and you are polluting the environment with lots of noise? Na ukuwe serious Bwana bill ya chai na samosa ni kitu ya kutangazia Watu ? Arsenal fans are all the same regardless of their party affiliations,” Murkomen said.
