In the last several hours or so, Kenyans on Facebook have been spotted being concerned about the health status of some Kikuyu celebrities.
This is after fresh details emerged confirming that they are currently hospitalized, after they fell ill after attending an event on Sunday night.
The event was actually the one where popular Mugithi musician Ngaruiya Junior was releasing his latest song, and it took place at the Mark Hotel.
Among the celebrities who attended the event included Karangu Muraya, Chuma Moto, Nyarari ya Muranga and Kikuyu Star, and they are the ones who have been reported so far to have been hospitalized following a food poisoning incident.
Another person who was also hospitalized after attending the event is the daughter of Ngaruiya Junior, and this was confirmed by Karangu Muraya, who further asked netizens to pray for them.
“If you have a friend who attended last night event of Ngaruiya Junior ‘King of Kigooco’ please check on them…niko hosi na siyuko poa pia”
“Ngaruiya Junior ‘King of Kigooco’ daughter is also in hospital…let’s pray for everyone who was there…” Karangu Muraya said.
