The mother of the girl who allegedly killed the slain Nairobi Hospital Acting Financial Manager, Eric Maigo, has finally broken her silence, narrating what happened hours before her daughter left their house for the killing scene. The girl was captured on CCTV escaping the murder scene through a perimeter wall.

According to a live interview made by NTV’s Brian Ombuya from the killer girl’s residence in Kibra, the mother, Mrs. Doreen Adhiambo, claimed that her daughter, 16 years old, has been having sinful characters since her childhood. She alleged that her daughter was first transferred from Olympic Primary School to Dagoret Approved School because of her unpresentable behaviors.

Doreen alleged that her daughter has been a thief, stealing petty items from neighbors and friends. On the fateful day of Maigo’s murder, the mother claimed that the girl reached home early in the morning with three liters of cooking oil and several packets of body lotion. The girl had injuries in several parts of her body.

“She has been a thief and not a murderer. I believe the items she brought home that morning were from Eric Maigo. My daughter can steal, but I doubt if she can kill. She brought a three-liter packet of cooking oil and several sachets of body lotion. Her clothes were thorny with blood stains all over her body,” the killer girl’s mother told the NTV news desk.
