Kikuyu gospel musician Muigai Wa Njoroge second wife Queen Stacey responded after Muigai Wa Njoroge first wife Njeri Muigai came out publicly to confirm that she is no longer in the polygamous marriage.
In an interview at Kameme FM, Njeri confirmed that she is currently single and no longer part of the polygamous marriage. She said that she had been struggling with the situation for a long time and finally decided to leave for the sake of her mental health.
“I left the marriage because I was struggling with the situation. I was not happy, and I felt like I was losing myself. I decided to leave for the sake of my mental health,” Njeri said. The second wife spoke out about the situation, confirming that Njeri had left the marriage a long time ago. She said that she had been with Muigai alone for one year, which meant that Njeri had left the marriage one year prior.
Muigai Wa Njoroge himself has not yet adressed the matter, but he shared a cryptic post on his social media pages hours after Njeri’s interview. The post, which featured a photo of himself with the caption “God is in control,” has been interpreted by some as a response to the situation.
