Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has slammed the officials for breaching protocol after they used Presidential podium to address the participants during the launch of Afya Nyumbani in Nairobi County.
Among them are Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi who was slammed by the alongside CS Susan Nakhumicha and other government officials present during the event.
Gachagua said this after he stood to also address the gathering when he blasted those who spoke before him for breaching the protocol set.
To mean his words he did not repeat the same thing done by the mentioned leaders as he said that the leaders ought to emulate Governor Sakaja by using the podium he used to address the people.
He added that he could not breach the protocol as a man in uniform, his role was only to follow the rules and not to beach the protocol.
The leaders however were invited by President William Ruto to use the podium to address the people present during the event.
