Some hours ago Inooro tv journalist Jeff Kuria interviewed popular Kikuyu benga musician Kawhite who talked about his music career and political songs he has been releasing lately. According to him, he said that most of his political and traditional songs are revelations and visions which he receives at night.
He went ahead and said that in his music career he is always fighting for the weak because God always push him with a song. He made it clear that he has never been paid by anyone to attack a person with his songs, but instead he always go where there is truth. Talking about the current Mt Kenya division, he said the problem with the community is that people are very selfish, and they only want to be rich.
He talked about a song he released featuring Samidoh, saying the song should be used to unite Mt Kenya people today. He said that Mt Kenya people usually unite when there is a threat and people should not think the community is too divided.
