Weeks after the High Court Declared that President William Ruto’s Housing Levy Project was Unconstitutional. His Excellency the 5th Head of State has boldly responded back to the Court with a very powerful message and stern warning.
While addressing Kenyans at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre, for the Inaugural Kenya Diaspora Investment Conference.
Ruto was very clear that Housing Levy is a project that was meant to benefit the poor Mwananchi. And it had nothing to do with the Rich people or business class individual in the Country.
The Head of State dismissed rumours that the Housing Levy Initiative is his personal business. And he is interested in making more fortune from it.
Housing Levy is not a State Business. This is a Project that came to enable Kenyans own their Homes. And I want to tell those who are on the Frontline fighting this project so that it cannot go through. Whether they like it or NO the Housing Levy Initiative will go on.”
“You cannot stop a Multi-Billion Project thay Kenyans have invested in for your own selfish interests or just because you hate William Samoei Arap Ruto and his entire Kenya Kwanza Administration. Let us be realistic with ourselves.” Asserted His Excellency President William Samoei Arap Ruto
High Court David Majanja who made a Ruling on the Housing Levy Initiative. He was on record saying the Housing Levy programme was a State Business to corn Hustlers.
