Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro has celebrated former U.S. President Donald Trump for his election as the 47th president where he also highlighted how his leadership is impacting Africa.
Taking to his X account on Wednesday, November 6, he expressed optimism for President Trump’s win and return to power.
The United States held their elections on Tuesday, November 5, where there was a tight race between Donald Trump under Republican Party and Kamala Harris under the Democratic Party.
Consequently, sources have revealed Trump as a winner and the next President of the United States set to succeed incumbent Joe Biden.
As a result, Nyoro has seen Trump’s victory on an economic angle where he projected Republican policies to be aligning with interests and efforts of developing countries including Kenya.
Furthermore, he hopes for changes under Trump’s presidency expecting him to provide favorable policies supporting Africa in various areas including in Trade and investment that may reduce foreign dependency.
As Africa struggles to confront various challenges, Nyoro believes in Trump’s favorable strategies surrounding monetary ease which are likely to provide relief.
Nyoro is one of many popular voices in Kenya who have expressed their congratulatory messages to the United States President-Elect who is expected to provide turn-around in World’s geopolitics.
