Three years after Uasin Gishu county Woman Representative Gladys Shollei successfully divorced her long-time husband Mr Sam Shollei, the UDA party MP seemed to have finally tied the knot with her mzungu lover.
From leaked photos shared online, Shollei could be seen having a good time with her lover Neil Horn and part of the family in what is suspected to be a traditional engagement ceremony commonly known as ‘tumdo’ in Kalenjin.

To ascertain this, a video seen by this writer showed a group of women dancing to the famous Kalenjin song “very nice tumdo” as Shollei leads the way. It was eminent from th photos and the video that only invited guests attended the ceremony which is suspected to have been done in Nairobi Shollei’s home.
She is quickly joined by the new husband as the song continues. The ceremony comes just a week after the marriage ceremony of his elder son Dr. Kim Kogos
“My heart was filled with joy and pride as my son Dr. Kim Kogos married his most beautiful bride, Ms Joy Cheptile. As mother to the groom, I wish the happy couple endless joy and abundant blessings” read Shollei’s post

Shollei divorced the father of her four kids Mr. Sam Shollei in 2020 only to emerge later with photos of new mzungu lover, a male foreigner of Caucasian descent.
A magistrate has ordered the dissolution of the marriage between Uasin Gishu Woman Rep Gladys Boss Shollei and Sam Shollei following irreconcilable differences.
The two have been married since 1994, but have been separated since 2016.
The magistrate in his decision said, “I have carefully considered the petition. It is clear the marriage has experienced serious turbulence in the past few years. The parties herein have serious disagreements that led to their separation. Efforts to reconcile them have borne no fruit.”
