Lately incidents of brutal attacks on cops have been on the rise with a huge number of these cops left nursing some serious injuries.
In another shocking update, It was reported that police officers were attacked at Ngara Medical Centre within Ngara Township by some unknown assailants.
Sources indicate that cops from Ngara police Station rushed to the scene and found three Police officers from Kamukunji police Station having been attacked and had Sustained injuries as follows;
It has now emerged that they were persuing a suspect who was carrying suspected stolen drugs from Nairobi CBD to Ngara Medical Centre and upon reaching the said facility the Suspect was ushered into the facility and door locked from inside.
When the officers knocked the door,a lady came out and laced the officers with a chemical suspected to be acid.The officers were rushed to Nairobi West hospital where they Were treated and discharged in fair Condition.Scene was processed and suspects arrested.
Five litres of suspected sulphuric acid and assorted drugs recovered and kept as exhibit.
