President William Samoei Ruto will suffer a fresh headache after a section of civil societies threatened to move to court to challenge the reinstatement of six cabinet secretaries in his new cabinet. The civil society organizations described President William Samoei Ruto move as unconstitutional.

While nominating his new cabinet, President William Samoei Ruto reinstated Professor Kithure Kindiki as the Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Interior, Aden Duale as the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, Alice Wahome as the Minister for Lands, Davis Chirchir as the Minister for Roads and Soipan Tuya as the Cabinet Secretary of Ministry of Environment.

While addressing the nation, President William Samoei Ruto said that he will consult widely before completing forming his new cabinet. The head of state said that the consultations are at an advanced stage and he will nominate the remaining cabinet secretaries soon.

However, according to reports, the head of state will be consulting the opposition, especially the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. President William Samoei Ruto said he is looking to create a government of national unity that will bring everyone to board. Ruto insisted that the new cabinet will reflect the face of Kenya.

In a twist of events, Wiper party leader Hon Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka rejected President William Samoei Ruto olive branch insisting that he will not be part of the government of national unity.

Kalonzo Musyoka, former Defense Cabinet Secretary Hon Eugene Wamalwa, Narc Kenya party leader Hon Martha Karua rejected Ruto call for dialogue to insist that he should address the issues raised by Kenyans.
