Kenya’s absence from the list of the top English-speaking nations in Africa startled a lot of Kenyans. Kenyans work really hard to speak English, yet Uganda was able to easily outperform them. This occurred as a result of the widespread non-use of English and Kiswahili, Kenya’s official languages.
You wouldn’t be shocked if you happened to walk up to a group of Kenyans having a conversation and heard them speaking in their native dialect. This is due to the fact that they find it more simpler to understand and converse with one another than they do with English or Kiswahili.
