The statement made by the Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) has raised more reactions among Kenyans and other key leaders. Bishops addressed the key issues affecting the common citizens including, the new funding model, the high cost of living, high taxation, new health model among other key issues they talked about. In response to these statements government officials have expressed their reactions concerning statements of Catholic Bishops.
The energy and petroleum cabinet secretary, Hon James Opiyo Wandayi, also breaks his silence following these remarks made by catholic bishops. According to the cabinet secretary he revealed that church should give government an opportunity to serve the people. He also added that Kenyans now are focused on service delivery not politics.
