Millicent Omanga comes from a family of seven daughters.
Her father, who worked as a mechanic in the Postal Corporation of Kenya, died in a road accident when she was only 17 years old, leaving her mother, Joyce, to raise the seven daughters.
When Millicent Omanga was named director of KenGen in 2013, a role she had until 2017, she initially gained notoriety.
Later on, she entered the corporate and political spheres. Milways Enterprises is a construction, interior design, and furniture import business owned and operated by Omanga.
The spouse of Millicent Omanga is Francis Nyamiobo, a physician by training.
Wayne, a boy, and Maya, a girl, are their two lucky children. They have been married for more than ten years. Millicent claims that Francis is her rock in both business and politics.
Omanga who is married to Francis Nyambiobo said that being a mom to her children is the best job adding that the feeling is magical.
“It is an indescribable feeling of pure love and definitely, the best job I could ever ask for; being a mother to my two adorable children. Motherhood is just magical,” she captioned.
