Nyandarua Senator Methu Muhia has declared himself Kenya’s newest entertainment star, following his recent attendance at shows by top musicians Samidoh and Waithaka Wa Jane.
The senator, known for his political roles, has now jokingly announced he’s been booked to entertain Kenyans throughout the festivities—and he’s more than happy to offer this “God-given talent.”
During a light-hearted moment after attending Samidoh’s show, Muhia took to social media, saying, “I’ve been booked to entertain Kenyans throughout the festivities, and I’m happy to offer this God-given talent.”
His post instantly went viral, leaving fans in stitches and speculating whether his new “role” would overshadow his political duties.
In the same breath, he expressed his gratitude to the artists who, in his words, “curtain-raised” for his upcoming shows.
“Thank you Samidoh, HSC, and Waithaka Wa Jane for curtain-raising my shows,” he humorously added, acknowledging the talented musicians for setting the stage for what many are now calling “Methu Muhia’s Big Break.”
The senator’s playful declaration has sparked widespread laughter on social media, with many joking that Muhia could soon be the next big thing in Kenya’s entertainment scene.
Some fans even teased that he should start collaborating with popular artists to release his own music or comedy skits.
While Muhia’s primary focus remains politics, his ability to engage with fans and embrace the lighter side of life has certainly made him a favorite on social media.
Whether or not we’ll see the senator drop a hit song or comedy special anytime soon is unclear, but one thing’s for sure—Methu Muhia has certainly captured the spotlight, and his fans are here for it!
