Meru Governor Hon. Kawira Mwangaza seems to be following the footsteps of First Lady Mama Rachel Ruto after introducing prayers for her county staff. Mama Rachel Ruto recently imposed monthly mandatory fasting and prayers at Statehouse and she has since come up with a “Faith Diplomacy” team that will be leading the prayers not only in the Statehouse but also in Counties.

Taking to her timeline, Kawira Mwangaza who apart from being a government official is also a Servant of God has shared a flier announcing the Introduction of prayers for the Meru County staff. According to Mwangaza, they have scheduled nearly a 1 hour time for prayers from the beginning of today 13th March 2023 and they will be taking place every morning on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday begining from 6.45 AM.

The prayers have been subdivided into three sections where 15 minutes are for praise and worship, 15 minutes for guided prayers, and the rest 15 minutes for preaching the word.

Prayer is a spiritual way of talking with God, and Mwangaza’s new idea is seen to encourage her staff to be prayerful and stay connected to God as He is everything.

Reacting to Mwangaza’s spiritual move, many netizens are seen to be supporting the prayers as they will guide the county staff in their day-to-day operations.

@Kamso Stellasoni; God morning mama, you can never go wrong with prayers.

@Lintari Mwirabua: Good idea your Excellency. Let us have the same in our hospitals.

@Tumaini Kinyua; Prayers wins everything.
