When popular gospel singer Angela Chibalonza died, she left behind a husband, Bishop Elisha Muliri and 9-month old baby named Wonder Glory.Chibalonza tragically died 15-years-ago in a grisly road accident along the Nakuru Nairobi Highway after performing at Egerton University.Bishop Muliri, the husband of the late gospel singer Angela Chibalonza, opened up about the pain of losing his wife in a recent interview with SPM Buzz.He said that it has been a difficult journey to move on without her, but God has made it easier.
“Losing a loved one is a pain that can only be understood by those who have experienced it.”
Bishop Muliri particularly felt the pain because Chibalonza passed away when their daughter Wonder was only nine months old.
As the only child of the late Chibalonza, Wonder shared how tough life was when she lost her mum adding that she didn’t have any breast milk, so she cried day and night.
“I want to thank all of you who came to this event to commemorate the good work my late mum did,” she said.
Wonder explained that her mum was loved by people because of her singing talent.
“Many people were blessed by her songs. Until today, her songs are a blessing to people,” she said.
After the death of his wife, Elisha didn’t think he would ever love again.But he found love in an amazing woman identified as, Maggie Muliri.
Elisha Muliri had to marry again because even the Bible allows a person to marry after the death of their partner. Elisha Muliri was blessed to marry Maggie who is also a gospel artist and has produced many Swahili songs like ‘Nitafika tu’ ‘Mwachie mungu’ among many others. Maggie is also a Reverend in one of the church in Tanzania and she is a gifted preacher. Maggie has taken good care of Wonder Angela Chibalonzo’s daughter and she is now a young adult. Maggie is a woman of a good heart.
