Millie Grace Akoth Odhiambo Mabona is a Kenyan politician. She originally trained as a lawyer, and has been a member of parliament since 2008. She was first nominated and later elected as a Member of Suba North Constituency.Odhiambo was born in 1966 in Homa Bay to Harrison Odhiambo and Damaris Auma Odhiambo.She is the fourth of eight children.Her father Harrison Odhiambo died in 1973 in a boating accident, a moment that Odhiambo says helped spur her interest in politics.

Millie attended Homa Bay Primary School, St. Francis Girls Secondary School and Limuru Girls High School before she attended the University of Nairobi in 1986. She graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Laws degree. She would later study in the United States, Sweden and Italy.Besides politics she is happily married lady

She is married to a Zimbabwean husband named Magugu Mabona.She does not shy off from calling out leaders that she feels are undermining women and children.

Unknown to many, Millie is married to a Zimbabwean husband, Magugu Mabona, whom she met online.

The two got married on February 14, 2006, in Kisumu on a ferry in Lake Victoria, a few metres from where her father died.Mabona is passionate about the Hotel and Catering management and professional image consultant for the lifestyle industry.

“I currently serve as a hotelier at Amak Images and I am responsible for strategic hotel operations to assure optimum performance,” reads part of Mabona’s LinkedIn profileExplaining some of the things she liked about Mabona, Millie noted that he came carrying a bible on one of their first date, adding that his looks also wowed her.
