Details have emerged of how a nominated member of parliament, Hon. Jackson Kosgei, was saved by protesters, who invaded the parliament, during the anti finance bill 2024. The nominated member of parliament, said that the protesters had humanity, because they did not harass him, despite of his stance on the controversial finance bill 2024, which have since been withdrawn.
According to reports, posted on the official X account of Kenyans.co.ke, Jackson Kosgei, said that he was unable, to vacate from the national assembly, after protesters invaded it, because of his disability. According to him, the tunnel that the members of parliament used to escape, did not favour people with disabilities, and hence he was left trapped inside the parliament. According to him, the protesters, asked him questions, and took him to a safe place.
