Otuoma’s love for football started in Mbotela, where he was raised, and locals paid their final tributes.
His family had celebrated a funeral mass for him earlier in the day at CCA Church Johera, where Racheal Otuoma initially presented his daughter to the world.
The young lady, who was wearing a white Rangers FC shirt with the name Otuoma on the back, was covered by the grieving woman in an internet video.
Racheal fought back tears as he stated, “I don’t have much to say but thank everyone for their assistance.”
The small girl was subsequently presented by her as “Kimberly Otuoma.” We let God handle the rest.
However, when they left the dais, Kimberly remained silent, Many Kenyans noted that the girl resembles her father, while others empathised with her.As per the motor neurone disease association, the condition can affect adults of any age, is life-shortening, and there is no cure.
Although it affects mostly the older population in their 60s or 70s, Otuoma was among the few relatively younger adults who suffered the illness as he was diagnosed in his 30s.
At the time of his death, he was 38 and his health had deteriorated to the extent that he was unable to walk or talk properly.
His wife had taken over the role of caregiver and stood by him, assisting him with all the activities he was unable to do on his own
