However, Miss Trudy has trended for the better part of the day especially on twitter after a video of hers ranting at the Mombasa airport emerged. Trudy, had gone to Mombasa for a short vacay and was on her way back. Because of her vlogging nature, she was seemingly filming inside the airport. Moments later, a security officer asked her to step aside a bit. That is when all hell broke loose. She started ranting about how they were being blocked from filming yet Kenya is a free country. She even went ahead to say that it was saddening for security officer’s to bar people from filming at the airport wondering, “This still happens in 2023?”
Miss Mutoko hits on her saying that those who call themselves content creator’s should acquaint themselves with the dictates of the law to avoid such occurrences. That there should be limitations on boundaries. Usually there are restricted areas in the country where any sort of filming, photo taking isn’t allowed. Even at the airport, it’s not everywhere that is restrictions. Some places are actually free and people can take photo’s and video’s. In this particular one, she was blocking the way and when told about it, she turned against the security team and started ranting.
In a reply to a comment, Mutoko says that Trudy is actually being clueless and that she believes being a content creator is everything which should not be the case. Some netizens have advised senior content creator’s and celebrities to have forum’s with the young creator’s so as to help them understand the limit’s of content creation.
