Deputy President Rigatĥi Gachagua yesterday attended the Central Kenya ASK show that was held in Nyeri County. This provided him and his allies with an opportunity to hit at their rivals or those who are opposed to their camp. In the past week, the region saw division as CS for interior Kithure Kindiki was endorsed as the Mt Kenya East kingpin.
The division is definitely a plot to have two factions within the mountain, probably what is majorly referred to as the divide and rule.Rigathi would then be alienated from the control of the larger Mt Kenya and maybe alienate him to just a section of the mountain.
Gachagua yesterday said that he would stand firm either way and won’t be shaken by the tribulations. He then sang a mau mau song Mwene Nyaga that is loosely translated to “When God is is one’s side then no enemy can defeat him or her.
Gachagua has always called himself the son of mau mau over time. He adds that he was instrumental in forming this current government and that he will defend and fight for it.
