Celebrated Kenyan actress Jackie Matubia has opened up about her life, and disclosed to the whole world that her mother is currently not doing well with regards to her health.
Her mother is unfortunately suffering from a life-threatening condition, that has left the award-winning actress worried to the core because it is happening just months after she lost her father.
Jackie Matubia actually disclosed the unfortunate news in a post that she made on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, the 18th of February.
The sassy Zora actress shared a photo that showed how her mother was undergoing a brain scan at one local hospital using an MRI scan.
Jackie Matubia then accompanied the photo with a caption of her revealing that her mother’s condition was the reason why she had been quiet in the last few days.
Even though the sassy actress never disclosed what exactly her mother was diagnosed with, she was hopeful that she will be able to get well soon.
Jackie Matubia further asked her fans to pray for her mother’s quick recovery.
“I’ve been a little quiet these past few days…and so many of you have been asking where I am and if niko poa 🥺.
The truth? The enemy has been trying me again. Barely a year since we lost my dad…and here I am, sitting within hospital walls once again because my mum is unwell.
But let me remind the devil you are defeated. I may be tired. I may be emotional. But I am not shaken. God is still God in the hospital room. God is still God in grief. God is still God in waiting. I am doing fine. I am standing. I am praying. And we will come out victorious. The same God that carried me last year is carrying me now 🥹🙏💜. Keep my mum in your prayers. Victory is still our portion in Jesus Name 🙏” she said.
