Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua and Kiharu member of parliament Ndidi Nyoro are rumored to be having a cold war between them. According to close sources with the two, both leaders are currently not in good terms.
Despite playing a vital role in president Ruto’s government, Gachagua and Nyoro have been seeing as enemies since Kenya Kwanza took over government.
Speaking on Monday at NTV, political analyst Herman Manyora explained that the main cause for the friction between the two Kenya kwanza politicians is simply the Mount Kenya kingpin debate.
According to Manyora, Gachagua had claimed to be the kingpin as he is the highest ranking politician at the moment fromt the region. However, Ndidi Nyoro’s influence in the region has made the Kiharu MP to reason perheaps this is the time for him to succeed former President Uhuru Kenyatta as the regions kingpin.
“The reason for this is that nobody has so far succeeded Uhuru Kenyatta in Mt Kenya… therefore Ndindi could be thinking he’s the right person,” Herman Manyora.
