Uwen could not believe it when he discovered that his wife has been cheating on him and the two out of the three children he left with his wife were actually Awen’s children.

Later, Uwen relocated to the UK in the hope of finding better jobs that would enable him cater for the new family. He used to spend a lot of effort in his work for 5 years and, every now and then, remit money for Osaru and their relatives who took care of her and their children.

When Uwen finally came back last month, he came back with gifts for Osaru and his three children, two male children and a female child. But he was immediately able to shift his attention on the older boy, 9-year old Osayuware who resembled Awen.

We see this in Osaru who finally opens up to Uwen after series of restlessness and tells him that his elder brother Awen had slept with her during his absence. In fact after a DNA test, it was revealed that Osayuware and his 7-year old sister Omosigho were both fathered by Awen. From this perspective, it can be understood that Uwen’s relatives had known the truth for years but did not reveal it to anyone so as not to upset the family.

Distraught with anger and pain, Uwen turned against his brother and wife to the local authorities to report them. However, elders of the village has intervened not to see the family continued being pulled apart by the issues of the law.

However, till this point, Uwen does not withdraw from his decision and is willing to continue the case. He is left feeling devastated and furious over his wife’s adultery, and his brother’s treason.

This has been the heartrending family saga that has been dominating the gossip news circuit of the town for the past few weeks.

When the entire thing came out, some of the villagers feared for Uwen having to rear offspring produced by his own brother. Some people bless Uwen for not going over the top about the shocking news by not responding violently against Osaru or Awen.
