A few days ago, Joseph Njenga, who was jailed in 2007 for violent robbery, was released from prison. Njenga maintained his innocence even after being found in possession of stolen goods, blaming his bad luck on hanging out with the wrong crowd of friends. After being released from prison, Njenga met up with his spouse outside of Embu Prisons. A clergyman escorted them as they renewed their vows.
When Joseph Njenga was discovered in possession of stolen goods, he was apprehended and imprisoned in 2007 on charges of violent robbery. The former prisoner who was released from the highly guarded facility told Inooro TV that even though he was found in possession of the stolen car, he was not involved in the theft.
His wife was waiting for him with open arms as soon as he walked out the gate. After years apart, the couple locked eyes and gave each other a long, loving embrace. Not far from the prison, Njenga’s wife was with a man of God who prayed for them as they renewed their vows.
