Residents of Mombasa are in utter shock after a middle-aged man jumped to his death from the 8th floor of the NSSF Building shortly after visiting his doctor.
According to eyewitnesses, the man asked for the toilet keys and was seen making his way to the gents but he jumped to his death through the window.
Reports indicate that he died after hitting his head on the concrete after landing on the 1st floor of the building.
Although it is hard to ascertain why he took his own life, sources say he was suffering from high blood pressure and had been visiting his physician regularly.
The incident was confirmed by Mombasa Deputy OCPD who said they were still compiling a report on the death.
