Police in Makueni are investigating a case of a 21-year-old boy who on Thursday night stabbed his brother, 25, and died by suicide at Ndovea Village, Nzaui, Makueni County.
The boy is said to have taken his life by hanging.
Confirming the incident Deputy County Commissioner for Nzaui Timothy Tirop said that they got the report from neighbours.
He said neighbours woke up to tearful news after noticing that there was no one coming out of the house.
The two boys are believed to have been staying home together.
According to the DCC, the reason behind the act has not been established.
The bodies of the deceased were taken to Makueni Referral Hospital awaiting postmortem.
Tirop has warned youths to solve their issues amicably and avoid been carried away by anger.
