It was a no-sleep weekend for Nairobi’s party animals.
Luckily, Monday was a public holiday, so there were no worries on Monday blues.
On Jamhuri day, you were either stuck watching highlights of the events on the Instagram stories or you were posting the highlights first hand.
These events were eagerly awaited by many Kenyans.
Sol fest
After all the controversies with the pricing of the tickets, the event was still successful and the artists delivered to their fans.

Other big artists from sol generation performed in the event like Bensol, Nviiri the story teller, Femi one and wakadinali.
Nsg Roots Africa Tour event
The artists arrived in Kenya earlier than expected. They tagged along with a new upcoming artist, C_P Newham who also performed in the concert.
Kenyans definitely turned up for the event and the artists were pleased by the support Kenyans gave.
Pappi from the Nsg group in a recent live said, “I have done shows around the world but nothing tops Kenya..The energy is crazy.ââ
Afro-vasha event
The event was held at the Naivasha resort so many major artists performed like, Tanzaniaâs Harmonize, Arrow boy, Nameless, Otile Brown, Wahu, Willy paul, H-art the Band and Alikiba. Afro-vasha took place in two days.
The event was a success judging from some of the comments made by KOT.
