Having defended himself in the national assembly by revealing how he inherited late brother’s properties, deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is now a man under siege as per the latest revelations.

As reported by Wednesday’s People Daily publication, a sworn affidavit now reveals how the second in command had a hand in selling late brother’s hotel and still retained it’s ownership.

As per the affidavit, DP Gachagua sold the Olive Garden hotel in Nairobi by appointing a proxy to manage it’s bank accounts.

Speaking, Peterson Njomo claimed that Gachagua approached him and persuaded him to buy the hotel in an agreement.

” The deputy persuaded me to enter into an informal secret arrangement regarding the transaction embodied in the agreement. The terms of secret arrangement were that the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua would refund the purchase price which was 412,000,000″, he said.

This revelation comes in relation to DP Gachagua’s evidence on how the hotel was sold and shared among the beneficiaries of his late brother.

Apparently, this is another major setback to DP Gachagua as it will be unveiled in the senate during the hearing of Impeachment motion against him.
