Other than ‘good times and great hits’, Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni is a lover of good things and good places.
In an interview with Mpasho, Maina revealed his love for good shoes and having more than 400 in his closet.
After wearing the shoes once, he gives them away to his workers and allows them to sell, wear them or give them to whoever they wish.
He loves wearing African Boy shoes – a brand owned by Tanzanian musician Juma Jux who is Maina’s great friend.
On cars, Maina loves nothing but a BMW, preferably the X series.
“I am a BMW guy, I got my 4th X6(BMW X6) I just love them. After three years…I get the latest one. I only have one…it was Ksh 15m to Ksh16m, if you don’t spend on yourself…who are you gonna spend on?” he posed.
Maina spoke about his plans to quit his radio job this year, saying nothing will convince him to stay.
“I want to do other things. I want to go live abroad…experience certain things…to not work for at least 2-3 years. Just go see the world…Travel…money will come back but time won’t. I really want to go see the world.”
