A Maasai Man has set the record straight after a video of him and his male friend went viral.
In a video that has since gone viral on TikTok, the two hugged as one was shying off the camera.
The two were rocking maasai shukas and seemed to be in a bushy area as they recorded the video.
Netizens, via their comment section, noted that they were happy for the two if they were in a relationship.
The man has, however, cleared the air in another video, stating that they were just friends. He said that Kenyans misconstrued the video and took it out of context, but his friend, the other man in the video, was just shy.
“Kuna video moja yangu imesambaa mitandaoni ile video. Ile video haikumaanisha kitu chocolate kibaya. Ule mshikaji tulikuwa tunajaribu kuchukua camera, mshikaji ikawa anaogopa kungalia camera. Sasa ndio nikajipata anainama namshika hivi, anainuka kwa hivyo naomba msichukulie vibaya hio video ni video tu haikuwa na ubaya yoyote. Muwe na imani kwamba hakuna kitu chochote kilifanyika kwa maana sisi Wamaasai hatuna kuweka video mbaya kwenye mtandao. Kwa hivyo naomba muichunguze vizuri hio video.
