Kenyan car owners are not safe anymore after car jackers advanced their skills making it easier to steal vehicles even from a parking lot without any struggles.
According to an exclusive report shared by Citizen TV on Wednesday, car thieves are now using technology to steal cars from parking lots and the cars are never found. According to the report, the thieves have jamming devices that destroy the tracking devices installed in cars. They can easily open the car and ignite without struggling and drive off to unknown destinations.
In this new car theft syndicate, only specific type of cars are targeted. Some of the cars include the Toyota fielders, axio, allion, premio and Probox. These cars are said to have a weak security system making it easier for the car jackers to jam.
Owners of these car models have been advised to be careful when parking their cars in public spaces as this is where the thieves work a lot. The best option however is to buy alternative car models whose security systems are more advanced.
