There was a light moment today morning as President Ruto arrived at Jamhuri Grounds for the Groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Talanta Sports City.
The head of state decided to take a penalty kick with CS Ababu Namwamba as the goalkeeper but before he took the penalty kick the head of state did some push-ups.
After 4 push-ups President Ruto got exhausted and stood up. He then warmed up to take the penalty kick.
On his side, Ababu Namwamba was all set ready to goalkeep. However President Ruto decided to tease him. Ruto ran as if he wants to kick the ball but didn’t leaving Ababu Namwamba jumping in suspense. This left those who had gathered to watch the President take the Penalty in stitches.
President Ruto then moved backwards and headed for the ball. This time he kicked it and scored a goal amid cheers.
