It is that time of the month where tenants and landlords engage each other in cat and mouse games.
This morning, Kamene and Jalas were discussing about landlords from hell and the extremes they go to just to shake you down till you pay your rent.
“Landlords wa Mathare, Kibera and Dandora ndio wabaya zaidi, do you know those guys kama Kibera mahali tulikuwa.
Those guys don’t add padlocks on the door, they remove the roof over arrears.” Jalas narrated.
Kamene could not fathom all this and was left questioning how a full grown up would do such a thing to a fellow being.
Jalang’o further broke her heart into pieces by telling her other landlords in fact lock you in without caring about what might happen to you.
