A Citizen TV intern has shared a video of veteran journalist Lulu Hassan and her husband Rashid Abdalla giving her advice on how to grow in the industry.

The intern, Givens Chanzu, had her first piece aired on TV, which left Lulu celebrating her debut while congratulating her.
She shared a video of herself talking to the TV news anchors, who were amused by her work and noted that not many get their stories aired that fast.

Rashid said: “Congratulations on a job well done. Many come for internships, and it takes them time before their stories go on air. You have come for a short time and your story went on air. It means you have something good, so keep working hard. Keep adding them, and do not listen to everyone, but it is a good opportunity.”

On the other hand, Lulu advised her to ensure that the bytes were captivating so that many people could watch her pieces.
