Friday the 15th of March was indeed a special day for renowned Kenyan journalist Zubeida Koome.
This is because her only daughter by the moniker of Nadia was officially turning 13-years-old on that day.
Being proud of the milestone, the sassy seasoned KTN News Prime Time news anchor celebrated her birthday in style.
Zubeida Koome infact penned a long message, where she gushed over how much Nadia had grown to be even taller than her.
The Swahili journalist also pampered her with love and wished her all the best in this new chapter of her life.
“🎉🎂 Happy 13th Birthday, to my super talented, super model Nadia! 🎂🎉 can’t believe you’re officially a teenager and also officially taller than me! 😄 Remenber when you used to look up to me? Now I have to crane my neck to look up to you literally! 😂😂😂 it’s all good though; I’ll just blame it on your amazing growth spurt and pretend I’m getting younger by standing next to you!
Nadia, you’re not just my daughter; you’re my “towering” inspiration, always reaching new heights in everything you do. The talented journalist who is also the Kenya Editors Guild (KEG) president, further accompanied the heartwarming message with photos of Nadia, just showing how tall she is.
In some photos, the teenager even posed with her younger brother by the moniker of Bundi as shown below.
Nadia has actually celebrated her birthday about 4 weeks after Bundi marked his.
The young one turned 6-years-old on the 14th of February, and at the time, Zubeida Koome also took to her Instagram account to celebrate him.

Nadia and Bundi are actually the only kids that Zubeida Koome has sired with her husband Kelvin Koome.
The couple has however been together since 2009.
