With the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA) results now released, thousands of learners and parents are rushing to confirm their performance. The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) has outlined official avenues for accessing results, warning the public to avoid fraudsters and fake platforms.
According to KNEC, the results can be checked exclusively through approved systems, designed to ensure accuracy and protect student data. Parents are urged to rely strictly on verified portals to avoid misinformation.
The primary method of checking KJSEA results is the KNEC Online Portal. To access it, users must visit the official KNEC website, navigate to the “KJSEA Results” section, and enter the learner’s assessment number. Once the details are submitted, the system generates the full results slip instantly. KNEC stresses that the portal is free and accessible from any internet-enabled device.
Schools also play a central role. Head teachers are required to download and print official results directly from the KNEC portal for all learners. Parents who encounter challenges online are encouraged to consult their school administrators for assistance, as schools receive the results in bulk immediately after release.
Importantly, KNEC has issued a firm warning against individuals claiming to upgrade results, offer early access, or sell fake results slips. The council maintains that results cannot be altered under any circumstances, and anyone approached with such offers should report the matter to authorities.
As candidates and parents rush to view their performance, KNEC is reminding the public to stay vigilant, use only official channels, and avoid shortcuts that could expose them to fraud.
